Dependents

Young children are dependent on their parents for food, shelter, clothing, protection, love, financial stability, emotional support. What happens when a parent can’t, or won’t, provide all of these things for their children? When a parent’s own childhood wounds were never healed, they seep and ooze like an open sore, inflicting themselves on the next generation of dependents who cannot stand separate from the parent.
